The View from Prospect Hill

I spent a little bit of time up on Prospect Hill in Waltham today. (I wrote about its history a bit ago here.)

Here’s a video: I think most of the unsteadiness is due to the wind…

Also took some time to trek the trails:

Eastern Redcedar
A less-than-spectacular photo of a spectacular pitch pine.
This tree has been like this for some time, with its shallow roots uprooted, but resting on another tree.
Even if the trees here aren’t peak foliage, the trail’s still plenty scenic!
