This is a sloppy WIP. Here’s what I’m planning to bring to NEARFest. I may only be there Friday.

Mobile radios

These are actually N1PTM’s.

  • Alinco DR-605, dual-band mobile rig. Think one half of the backlight is out but should be good.
  • Kenwood TM-V7A, dual-band mobile rig. Missing UHF volume knob.

Analog portables

Depending on when they arrive, I may have a limited quantity of USB-C rechargeable batteries for these.

  • 7x Motorola HT1550s, AAH25RDN9DU8AN. FPP-capable!
    • Notorious for lines of dead pixels. My radios vary from perfect to pretty bad.
    • Overall, good to excellent cosmetic condition.
    • Includes a charger, antenna, and speaker-mic, but no battery.
    • Asking $50 for mediocre displays, $75 for good ones.
  • 2x Motorola HT1250LS+ radios (450-520)
    • AAH25SDH9DP7AN
    • Limited keypad model
    • No accessories (antenna, battery, etc.)
  • 3x Motorola HT1250 (403-470) radios
    • One is AAH25RDF9AA5AN, good condition
    • One AAH25RDH9AA6AN (full keypad), well-used, missing volume knob (I may have a replacement somewhere?)
      • Accessory/programming port is in questionable condition; I think it works but is pretty much a parts radio
    • One is AAH25RDH9AA6AN, full keypad, good condition except it inexplicably has no front label
    • No accessories (antenna, battery, etc.)
  • Oh! But I have a box of speaker-mics for these; can include one with each radio as long as I have enough

P25 handhelds

  • Harris XG-100P handheld – $850
    • Includes 2 batteries (OEM + aftermarket)
    • Includes OEM charger (which means it’s unreliable)
    • Includes the big antenna that’s actually useful on VHF
    • Well-optioned; does wideband, Phase 2, all bands
    • In good condition
  • 2x Motorola XTS2500 handhelds (450-520)
    • 1 each H46SDD9PW5BN and H46SDD9PW5AN
    • Radio only, no accessories available
    • Asking $75 each
    • I may have more
    • I may have some new non-OEM USB-C chargeable batteries available at cost
  • 1x Motorola MT1500 (450-520)
    • H67SDD9PW5BN
    • May be programmed to think it’s an XTS
    • Also no accessories, asking $75
  • 3x Motorola XTS5000 VHF with displays (136-174)
    • One, unsure which yet, is reserved
    • Two model 2s, one a model 3 (with FPP)
    • $120 for Model 2s, $150 for model 3
    • Available with good aftermarket battery, 2100 mAh (NiMH)
    • No chargers or antenna available
    • (Upgraded from Model 1s)
  • 6x Motorola XTS5000 VHF Model 1 (136-175) – $80
    • Engraving on front (Gloucester FD)
    • Flashed for analog and P25 conventional

P25 mobiles

  • 2x Motorola XTL1500, Range 2 (450-520) – $125
    • M28SSS9PW1AN
    • No accessories (power cord, mic, antenna) included; I might be able to dig up some spares if needed

Miscellany

  • 6x UCMs for XTS5000
    • Mostly labeled NTN9738C
    • I don’t think these are set up for any of the good algorithms; need to check
  • 4x Motorola R1225 repeaters
    • A couple each VHF and UHF
    • Configured as just the repeater brick with a programming port, no front display
    • But, two displays available
    • Disclaimer: These test OK for basic operation, but should be tested on a service monitor before putting them into use.
  • Icom IC-FR6000 repeater
    • Dual repeaters in 2U chassis
    • 400-470 MHz
    • iDAS/NXDN plus analog FM
    • Includes what I thought was a super-pricey trunking board, but it turns out no one runs Icom trunks
      • I think I’ll pull those boards and put them on eBay unless someone has a use for them?
  • Icom IC-F4161DS, UHF iDAS/NXDN radio for testing the above
    • Includes battery and (badly-worn) antenna; charger if I can find it
    • I never really did much with these. I don’t think I even made it as far as getting the programming software.
  • JPS SNV-12 receive voter, with cards for 6 inputs
  • Approximately 10 Commander speaker-mics for XTS5000, RMN5088B (“Commander II Plus”)
    • None have clips on the back!
    • Channel knob on top, front volume buttons
  • LTR controllers
    • For a project I never started
    • 2x Trident Raider Xtreme; meant for Passport sites, unclear to me if they do LTR
    • Trident Marauder, LTR w/ phone patch
    • Kenwood-branded LTR controller, I think plain LTR
    • At least the non-Xtreme ones can also do multiple tones for a community repeater
    • No cables
  • Motorola/Gaitronics CommandPLUS dispatch console
    • Missing a couple keys
    • Includes power adapter!
    • Who needs computers or IP consoles?
  • 6-slot gang chargers, one for HT1250-style radios and one for XTS5000-style radios
    • Each has the full six displays for reading Impres data
